Zachary Yantha serves as the Manager of Applied Sport Science at HW Health and is the Research Lead for ReconditioningHQ. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience across high-performance environments, Zachary brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to both rehabilitation and athletic development.
He previously worked at the University of Ottawa as an Assistant Performance Coach, where he primarily supported the swimming and hockey programs. Zachary also completed both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa, further strengthening his expertise in applied sport science.
During his internship in Santa Barbara, California, Zachary trained with the renowned Peak Performance Project (P3), a global leader in biomechanical testing and high-performance training. This experience significantly shaped his perspective on movement analysis, performance optimization, and individualized programming.
Zachary’s approach is holistic and detail-oriented. He critically examines movement patterns, identifies deficiencies, and develops customized plans tailored to each individual. He enjoys working with a diverse range of clients across various sports and demographics.
